Crew housing units for Richland Parish and Meta Hyperion crews
Who needs crew housing here
Meta Hyperion in Holly Ridge
Louisiana Economic Development says Meta has committed more than $50 billion to the Hyperion campus: nearly 10 million square feet and about 5 gigawatts, with a peak construction workforce of about 7,500 and about 1,000 permanent jobs [1]. The site covers about 2,250 acres, and about 3,700 workers were already on it in March 2026 [3]. The state expects Meta to keep working on the site through 2030 [4].
Where the crews sleep now
Parish officials told The Advocate they expect 8,000 to 10,000 workers, and several dozen new RV camps have opened, some sized for up to 800 workers [2]. A subcontractor to DPR Construction built a 130-acre camp with more than 300 RV sites [3]. Crews work 12-plus hour days, six to seven days a week, and leave before dawn, so the drive from bed to gate matters [4].
A parish that has grown fast
Grow NELA data show Richland Parish sales tax revenue rose from $21 million in 2024 to $39 million in 2025, with $92 million expected in 2026 [4]. The state says $1.6 billion in work has already gone to Louisiana companies, and subcontractors can register through the Source Louisiana portal [1]. Owning the units lets a subcontractor put its crew on its own yard instead of bidding against everyone else for the same pads and rentals. See man camp rentals vs. buying your own units.
Looking for a room for yourself? We do not rent rooms or beds. We sell new units to employers, contractors, and camp owners who house their own crews.

Permits, delivery, and site
Richland Parish now bars four or more trailers on one property unless the site has bathrooms and showers [2]. Every room in our crew units has its own bath, but ask the Police Jury about your parcel before you order. Each 16 ft wide unit rides in on an oversize permit from LA DOTD; we pull the permits and run the haul and the set. Septic or package-plant wastewater has to be approved by the LDH sanitarian for Richland Parish [5]. HUD-code units fall under the State Fire Marshal’s manufactured housing program. Send us the parcel location and we will check the build spec against it.

Common questions
Can my company buy crew units for a yard in Richland Parish?
Yes. You buy the units new from our Breckenridge, TX plant, and our team hauls, sets, and hooks them up on your land near Holly Ridge, Delhi, Rayville, or Monroe. Everything is sold new; there is no rental or lease option.
How big is the Hyperion construction workforce?
The state puts the peak at about 7,500 construction workers. Parish officials have said they expect 8,000 to 10,000.
Does Richland Parish have rules for trailers and camps?
Yes. The Police Jury now bars four or more trailers on one property unless the site has bathrooms and showers. Our crew units have a bath in every room, but check your parcel with the Police Jury and the parish health unit before you order.
I work at Hyperion. Can I rent a room from you?
No. Individual workers cannot book a bed with us. Our buyers are the employers and subcontractors that house their own people, so ask your foreman or a local lodging provider.
How fast can units reach a site near Holly Ridge?
We can build as many as 50 units in about 30 days. Average capacity is about 45 units per month, depending on the production schedule. Every job is different, and our team helps at every step. See the delivery and setup timeline.
